AegisOps Offshore
How AegisOps works

Four inputs, explicit rules, a plan you can defend.

AegisOps reads the state of the operation each day, applies the rules that matter, and produces a plan with the reasoning shown. It doesn't replace the planner — it gives the planner somewhere to stand. Each input is read from its source of truth and held current.

"If it can't be executed offshore, it doesn't get planned."

What it reads
The teamEvery technician on rosterTickets, certifications, inductions, special authorisations and recent work history, with compliance status visible at a glance.
The vesselCapacity, limits, authorityVessel capacity, operational sea-state limits, and the master's authority over the sail decision.
The weatherA live offshore feedSummarised into usable windows, marginal calls, and days where revenue is best protected by leaving turbines to produce.
The workThe task list against the asset registerTurbine access, lifting-equipment serviceability, balance of plant, grid-connection status and inspection state all feed the decisions the rules engine has to make.
How it reasons

Every allocation AegisOps makes is the output of explicit rules, not a black-box model. The priority is simple: the right technician on the right job, with the most capable people on the most critical work — because that's what protects both the outcome and the people doing it. Where a constraint would otherwise stop a job — an unresolved access issue, marginal weather, a lapsed certification — the rules surface the problem, attach the cost of the delay to it, and give the ops manager the evidence needed to unblock the day. Nothing happens that can't be explained. And no plan goes out to the team until a planner reviews and issues it.

AegisOps recommends, a human owns.

01 · Technicians

The right technician on the right job.

Wrong skillset, a lapsed cert, no specialist on the crew.

Checks every proposed team's composition and surfaces weaknesses before the sail — gaps in OEM training, missing specialist competencies, a lead-to-support ratio wrong for the task. Where the team can't be made right, the constraint is costed and attached to the job, so a workforce gap is a planning signal, not a day-of surprise.

02 · Vessels

Sail feasibility against real limits, not assumptions.

Limits exceeded, no access, lost vessel days.

Reads weather against the specific task and the equipment state of the turbine that will support it. A wind limit that's fine for a routine davit lift isn't fine when the davit is out and an Actsafe becomes the only way to transfer equipment — the operational limit is adjusted, the task deferred if needed, and the deferred production attached to the blocker holding it up. The technician still makes the final call at the turbine.

03 · Tasks

A prioritised queue with every constraint attached.

Priorities and constraints scattered across systems.

The most experienced leads and most capable technicians are weighted toward the highest-priority work — the critical corrective, the outage-driving fault. On lower-stakes days the same logic works in reverse: jobs become development opportunities for technicians growing into them, with the right support alongside.

04 · Weather

An hour-by-hour sail / no-sail verdict, visible before it costs.

Forecasts get skimmed.

Usable windows, marginal calls and no-sail days, read against the vessel's limits and the task's own access requirements.

05 · Compliance

Caught before it blocks the window.

A cert expiry that silently stalls work.

Cert expiry and technical competency are tracked and surfaced early, attached to the jobs they'd hold up, with the deferred work costed day by day — the evidence ops managers need to expedite training and make the case for resources.

06 · Fairness

Lead rotation that's visible, not assumed.

Lead responsibility defaults to the usual few.

The roster shows each technician's lead count for the current shift block, so the planner can see at a glance who has carried the lead and who hasn't. Secondary to capability and criticality, but visible.

What comes out

AegisOps produces tomorrow's plan each morning, a provisional sketch of the day after, and today's live brief as work is underway.

By email · No technician login

Each technician receives their own Pre-Sail Brief by email — their team, their turbine, their tasks, the weather for their day — with any certificate expiry flagged inline. No technician login required.

Planners work from the full console; technicians see what they need to know, and nothing they don't. Alongside the daily plan: a site map with live turbine state, a per-turbine history that captures debrief notes as each job closes, and a technician roster that surfaces compliance status at a glance.
